On The Monitoring Program of Child-Friendly Libraries in The Land of Papua– Part 1

The grey skies did not prevent Yayasan Literasi Anak Indonesia (YLAI) team conducting monitoring and support visits to child-friendly libraries in pilot schools of Tanah Papua.

The results of the training given in September 2017 and discussions with teachers and librarians as well as the principals on the management and activities in the library showed encouraging results in the field. Plus to see the enthusiasm and motivation of students spending time reading in the library, made the tiredness from a 7 hour Bali-Papua trip disappear.
