MoU Signing on the Second Cycle of Child-Friendly Library in Badung Regency

Child-friendly library program is being held again in Badung regency. After successfully implementing child-friendly library program in Badung regency in the first cycle, Yayasan Literasi Anak Indonesia (YLAI) will again build 12 school libraries in Badung regency, Bali.

After the pre-Mou between the headmaster and the comitttee of each school was signed, the Mou between The Sport, Youth and Education Department of Badung Regency with the Yayasan Literasi Anak Indonesia (YLAI) as the partner of Room to Read in Bali has been signed too. The signing of this memorandum of understanding was opened by the representative of the head of the Sports, Youth And Education Department of Badung Regency and was witnessed by representatives of technical implementation unit of the Sport, Youth and Education Department, supervisors, librarians and teachers of the appointed schools.

With the election of 12 new schools, there will be 24 children-friendly libraries scattered in 6 sub-districts in Badung regency which are expected to become models of good library management practices with the aim of developing reading habits.
