The focus group discussion was opened by the representative for the Head of the Education Department. It was also attended by representatives of the Sport, Youth and Education Department of the entire Badung Regency, including supervisors, principals, teachers\u2019 representatives, and selected school librarians.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-text-letter-spacing ); background-color: var( --e-global-color-b0d5f65 );\">In the discussion, it was agreed that the involvement of the community is indispensable for the sustainability of the library. Strong collaboration between school communities is essential in solving the problems that arise in both library management and classroom reading activities.<\/span><br><\/p>\n<p>It was also agreed that with the child-friendly library program, students\u2019 reading interest greatly increased. With the increase of children\u2019s reading interest, students\u2019 reading skills in the classroom were also increasing. With the increase in students\u2019 reading skills, it is hoped that students\u2019 achievement in other subjects would also increase.<\/p>\n<p>The teachers feel the benefits of this program. Today, teachers\u2019 skills in integrating literacy learning in the curriculum has improved.
