Fourgie has 15 years working in the world of education in curriculum development, programs and managerial roles. She is motivated to continue working in the world of education and to contribute to the literacy development of elementary school children in Indonesia. Through the work of YLAI, Fourgie hopes to see great improvement in the reading interest and reading skills of children throughout Indonesia.

Dimas Aditya Bramanto

Finance & HR Manager

In his daily work, Dimas handles matters relating to finance, budgets, legal agreements and staffing. He hopes that he can play a role with YLAI in fostering the development of literacy throughout Indonesia.

Anak Agung Eka

Finance & Book Keeper

Agung Eka supports the finance team in handling finance and administration. He has previously also worked in information technology. Agung Eka hopes that the literacy program developed by YLAI can be spread throughout Indonesia to benefit young children.

Ni Komang Dwi Eka Yuliati

Senior Teacher Trainer

Eka has been teaching for over 10 years in Bali. She is familiar with the world of young children because of her experience in teaching the early grades. She is very interested in literacy teaching, and is now pursuing her career as a literacy trainer of teachers in Indonesian schools. Aside from being a literacy coach, Eka has also written a children’s storybook Jana Tak Mau Tidur. As an educator and writer, she wants to inspire Indonesian children to have a passion for reading.

Wahyu Kuncara

Senior Teacher Trainer

Wahyu is directly involved in training and development of school literacy activities for primary school teachers in local schools. He has previously worked with non-governmental organizations that focused on education in outer islands of Indonesia. Wahyu hopes that children’s storybooks can be accessible to all parts of Indonesia.

Emilia Rosita Dewi

Teacher Trainer

Emi works as a teacher trainer to assist in YLAI’s training and projects. As a result of 3 years of work at YLAI, she has gained much knowledge of the Indonesian school system, and realizes that literacy plays an important role in the education of children today. In the future she hopes every region in Indonesia, especially remote areas, can realize the importance of literacy for children.

Augusiane Farika Pandji

Book Development Coordinator

Farika(Fay) is responsible for coordinating the development, and editing of Indonesian children’s reading books. Fay is a graduate of the Department of International Relations, and has worked in several non-governmental organizations with a focus on education. Now, she hopes to continue working to support the development of children’s literacy, especially in Indonesia.

Grace Mailuhu

Book Development Coordinator

Grace is responsible for coordinating the development, and design layout of Indonesian children’s reading books. She has experience working in various fields in private companies in Indonesia. Her awareness of the condition of education, especially literacy, for Indonesian children led her to study more deeply about the world of children’s books, and she hopes to inspire a love of reading through engaging picture books.

Ucok Desfi Putra

Multimedia and Social Media Officer

Ucok started his career by working in several private companies in the area of art, video and audio visual graphic design, as well as advertising. His hope is to support and facilitate literacy development for the nation’s children through the work of YLAI.
